Sevenoaks Place consists of 17 unfurnished, self-contained flats situated in the upper High Street of Sevenoaks, close to the town centre and adjacent to Sevenoaks School. These are suitable for couples or single people and have recently been refurbished to a high standard.
Each flat consists of a living room, kitchen, bathroom with bath and/or shower, bedroom and central heating. Residents may furnish their flats as they wish. There is a small well-equipped shared laundry. All apartments look out onto the High Street to the front and attractive courtyard to the rear. There are two communal courtyard gardens for residents to enjoy, with a small area for each flat, and sheds for garden chairs and gardening equipment. For socialising, as well as the gardens there is the attractive community room and kitchen which provide a venue for coffee mornings, occasional lunches and celebrations. Parking spaces may be available.
Sevenoaks Place is situated at the top of the bustling High Street, close to a newsagent and St Nicholas’ Church. Bus stops are located directly outside and opposite, and the flats are within easy walking distance of the centre of town with its shops, coffee bars, restaurants, library, cinema and theatre. There are several pharmacies and GP surgeries in the town. The railway station is one mile away. Sevenoaks is around 30 minutes from Central London by train, with excellent rail links to London Charing Cross, Waterloo and London Bridge. The A21 and M25 are close by, and the magnificent Kent and Sussex coast is around one hour’s drive away.
Behind Sevenoaks Place is Knole, one of England’s largest country houses, set within a thousand-acre deer park and managed by the National Trust. The park is open to the public and is accessible from the nearby Knole Lane.
