These eight single-storey cottages are situated in the village of Weald about three miles away from Sevenoaks. They comprise two rows of charming terraced cottages, just opposite St George’s Church and with rural views to the rear.
Each cottage has recently been refurbished and consists of an entrance porch, sitting room, kitchen/diner, bathroom and bedroom. Heating is provided by Dimplex electric storage/convection heaters, and residents are also welcome to use the open fireplaces for a log fire. There are very small gardens to the front and rear of each cottage. Parking is available on the road outside.
Lambarde Cottages are located on the edge of one of the most attractive villages in Kent. Sevenoaks Weald is a thriving parish of some 500 households, and its services and facilities include a church, GP surgery, village pub, licensed restaurant, village shop and garage. There are social groups for residents of all ages and a primary school. Residents of Lambarde Cottages are also very welcome to use the facilities at Sevenoaks Place and to join all social occasions there, such as regular coffee mornings, meals and seasonal get-togethers.
A bus route passes the cottages, with a bus stop nearby and a regular service to Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells and Bromley. Weald is around three miles from both Sevenoaks and Hildenborough railway stations and is close to the A21. The nearest towns are Sevenoaks (under three miles), Tonbridge (five miles) and Westerham (eight miles).
